I have been enjoying your blog, as a year ago, I was in your shoes! I am a few years younger tho and my children are small, and we all came to MA and actually lived in the same building you are!
The last capture is beautiful, the intensity on his face is amazing. Keep talking to your subjects to continue to pull that out of them, I never shut up when I'm behind my camera! Also, remember your head/neck axis, alot of your images have the head/neck/shoulders straight onto camera. Move them, look at your last capture and the ones above and note the difference in the images! Soon it will be second nature for you to catch all these!
Keep shooting, oh, and I see you found our favorite spot, the covered bridge. Its breathtaking in fall isn't it?
